WHAT IS PSYCHOSEXUAL THERAPY?
Psychosexual therapy, also known as sex therapy, is a talking therapy that addresses sexual issues. Much like a relationship therapist, a sex therapist can provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about issues that may be affecting your sex life, self-esteem, confidence, and relationships.
Our psychosexual therapists and counsellors work with both individuals and couples. They support clients who are seeking to understand more about their sexual identity, and interests, and work towards overcoming sexual difficulties, increasing their confidence and enhancing their sex lives and relationships.
We have a large team of therapists who warmly welcome all. We work affirmatively with diversity including gender, sexual and relationship diversity (GSRD), culture, religion and neurodiversity. We work with all relationship styles including monogamy, consensual non-monogamy and polyamory, as well as those engaged in BDSM and Kink.
All of our psychosexual therapists are also relationship therapists, and they work with a wide range of themes relating to sex and relationships. They have completed specialist training in order to be qualified to assist clients with the psychological and emotional causes of sexual difficulties. Our therapists help clients overcome difficulties such as erectile dysfunction, vaginismus and desire discrepancy. Common themes our therapists work with include:
Gender and sexuality
Sex education and confidence
Desire and arousal issues
Problems with sexual function including E.D., Rapid Ejaculation, Vaginismus and sex-related pain
Kink, fetishes
Compulsive sexual behaviours
Consensual Non-Monogamy
Issues relating to hormones, health, ageing and fertility
Loss
Trauma
We are able to offer low-cost therapy with our therapists-in-training who are in their final year of training, as well as discounts for students and key workers.

BUILD
CONFIDENCE
Confidence grows with nurture, while psychosexual therapy provides the environment for that growth to take place. It enables self-exploration, understanding, gaining new tools and looking through different lenses to promote a positive relationship with self and the things that matter.
TALK IT
THROUGH
Bottled up thoughts, worries and distress impact our wellness. As we start to talk, we start the journey to make sense of what is happening. It helps to do that with someone who has the resources and training to support us on our way.
MOVE
FORWARD
The first step of moving forward is understanding what is holding you back. The next is getting to a place where you can let go of it and reach out to what lies ahead. Exploration and healing take you from one to the other.
GETTING STARTED
It’s really easy to get started, all you need to do is submit a self-referral through this website and we will match you with the right therapist for your particular needs.
