Musonda is an experienced and compassionate therapist who supports individuals and couples navigating sexual, relational, and personal challenges. She is a COSRT-registered Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist and a BACP-registered Relational Integrative Psychotherapist, working in private practice.
Musonda brings a broad depth of therapeutic experience, having worked with organisations including Relate, MIND (Enfield and Barnet), Place2Be, and REMA Counselling Centre. She is known for her warm, attuned presence and her ability to help clients feel genuinely listened to, understood, and validated. Her work is also informed by long-term personal therapy, which has shaped her capacity to work at meaningful relational depth.
Her approach is relational and integrative, drawing on established theories and evidence-based practices to respond thoughtfully to each client’s unique needs. A core influence in Musonda’s work is the REMA model of counselling (Relationality, Embodiment, Meaning, and Agency) which integrates psychodynamic, person-centred, and humanistic perspectives. This framework offers a supportive space to explore emotional and relational experiences with depth and curiosity. In her psychosexual and relationship work, Musonda also incorporates psychoeducation around gender, sex, and sexuality, alongside approaches such as Sensate Focus, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She works collaboratively, offering tailored support that prioritises respect, autonomy, and personal growth.
Musonda is particularly passionate about supporting individuals and couples with concerns around sexual wellbeing, including compulsive sexual behaviours, erectile or ejaculation difficulties, painful sex, and mismatched or low sexual desire. She works with a wide range of relationship structures, including polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships, and supports clients navigating attachment difficulties, infidelity, and communication challenges, while helping partners stay connected and honour their individual identities.
She works affirmatively with Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) and is committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for LGBTQIA+ clients. Musonda is nearing completion of a Diploma in Compulsive Sexual Behaviour (CSB) with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) and welcomes clients seeking support with problematic sexual behaviours.
Musonda’s practice is enriched by over 20 years of global professional experience working across Australia, Asia, Canada, India, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. This has fostered a deep respect for cultural diversity and a nuanced understanding of how personal, relational, and societal contexts shape wellbeing. In therapy, she supports clients to develop insight, strengthen self-esteem, and build confidence and autonomy. Whether clients are seeking to improve sexual communication, work through relationship difficulties, navigate separation, or transition out of a partnership, Musonda offers a compassionate and respectful space to support meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, Musonda’s goal is to empower clients to make lasting positive changes in their relationships and lives, cultivating deeper self-awareness, improved communication, and a more fulfilling connection with themselves and others.
Musonda offers a complimentary 10-minute Intro Call, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your needs and decide whether they’re the right fit before booking your first appointment. Simply select Book Session to view available Intro Call appointments.
