I am a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in training, currently completing my Postgraduate Diploma with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS). I work with individuals experiencing difficulties around sex, intimacy and relationships, providing a compassionate, affirming and non-judgemental space where sensitive experiences can be explored without shame or stigma.
My approach is pluralistic, which means I work flexibly across different therapeutic approaches depending on you, what you are experiencing and what feels most helpful. I draw particularly on cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, alongside parts work and Gestalt techniques. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we can find ways of working that suit your individual needs and what you would like to achieve from therapy.
My background in neuroscience also informs my interest in how our minds and bodies respond to stress, anxiety and previous experiences. I incorporate psychoeducation where helpful, supporting you to develop a better understanding of your own responses and how these can influence sexuality, intimacy and connection in the present.
I have a particular interest in sexual and relationship diversity and offer a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ and kink-affirming approach. I welcome clients exploring gender and sexuality, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory and open relationships, and recognise that there is no single way that sexuality, intimacy or relationships should look.
Within my psychosexual work, I support people experiencing concerns including low or differing desire, erection and arousal difficulties, premature or delayed ejaculation, painful sex and penetration difficulties, orgasm difficulties and sexual anxiety..
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity and respect, and aim to create a space where you can speak openly about experiences that may have previously felt difficult, private or uncomfortable to discuss.
