JUSTINE’S PROFILE

Justine is a registered psychosexual and relationship therapist, and the sex and relationship therapist for a domestic abuse charity.

Before training in psychotherapy, she worked with horses – almost entirely silent communicators whose sensitivity and presence shaped her ethos of listening, patience, and empathy. This background fuels her fascination with the parallels between human and non-human animal behaviour, particularly in the areas of attachment, trauma, and compulsive behaviours.

She works with a broad range of sexual function concerns and relationship difficulties, with a particular focus on issues often considered “taboo.” Known for her calm, non-judgemental approach, Justine creates the safety clients need to explore the shame they may feel around desires, fantasies, or past experiences.

She has a particular interest in how first-time pregnancy can reshape a relationship, as well as the shifting identities of the modern man and masculinity more broadly. She believes sex can be both profound and playfully human, and that humour has a rightful place in the therapy room. Clients often value her willingness to challenge, and her clear, straightforward style.

A pluralist therapist, Justine draws from psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, and CBT, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual and working collaboratively throughout the process.
