Charisse is a Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience supporting individuals and couples to navigate life’s complexities.
Relationships are at the heart of who we are, whether with our partners, ourselves, or the world around us. Charisse’s therapeutic style is Integrative underpinned by Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory she works with couples and individuals to explore relational patterns, communication dynamics, developing emotional regulation, and moving from reactive cycles into more intentional, connected ways of relating.
Charisse is deeply passionate about working with clients from a wide range of cultural, religious, and social backgrounds. She brings sensitivity, curiosity, and respect to the diverse identities and experiences that clients bring into the room. Her practice is grounded in an intersectional understanding of identity acknowledging how race, gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, class, and culture all interact and influence how we show up in relationships.
She has worked as a Primary Care Counsellor and Psychosexual Therapist within the NHS, and at the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre, where she offered specialist trauma-informed support. She also facilitates ADHD support groups and works in a neurodiversity-affirming way that embraces difference rather than pathologizing it. With lived experience of ADHD herself, Charisse brings empathy, insight, and adaptability to her work, particularly when supporting neurodivergent individuals and couples.
Charisse also supports clients in exploring their sexuality, working through internalised shame, and reclaiming pleasure and connection. She understands how deeply sex-related shame can impact self-worth and intimacy, and offers a compassionate, affirming space to gently unpack these experiences and build a healthier relationship with desire and the body.
Whether you’re working through relational conflict, struggling with sexual disconnection, or seeking to understand yourself on a deeper level, Charisse is experienced in helping you explore new perspectives, to create change that lasts beyond the therapy room.
